Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may also send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling We offer the option of Royal Mail First Class delivery (Royal Mail quote: "First Class mail aims to deliver your letter or packet the next working day, including Saturday" Please allow between 1 and 3 days for delivery.) or Royal Mail next day signed delivery before 1 pm. You can select which option you prefer in the Checkout and will be charged accordingly. Included in our shipping price is a small charge towards the packaging required to protect your purchase in transit.
During summer we may have to suspend the option of using Royal Mail First Class 1 to 3 day delivery as the temperature may be too high to ensure that our chocolates arrive in a good condition. Please use Next Day delivery during this period.
Please order before 2 p.m. for next day delivery, weekdays only, excludes Bank Holidays. UK destinations only. Some products will have their shipping costs included in the price and will be clearly described as such e.g. Wedding Favours. We normally use Royal Mail First Class delivery, or, Royal Mail Next Day delivery for private addresses and a carrier for business addresses. Both Royal Mail's and our carrier's delivery promises and targets apply. We must be notified of a failed delivery as soon as possble and within at least 7 days of the expected delivery date. Proof of delivery is not normally obtained for items sent by First Class post and therefore if you require a proof of delivery, send your order by Next Day delivery.

Delivery Schedule We will normally send your order to you by Royal Mail First Class, or, Next Day 'Before 1300' delivery (Maximum weight per order of 10kg for Next Day). This only includes Monday through to Friday and excludes all English Bank Holidays. We will make every reasonable attempt to ensure your order arrives on the date you have requested, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays.
Only orders received by 1400 (2pm) can be delivered for the next working day. This only includes Monday through to Friday and excludes all English Bank Holidays.
If a delivery date is selected that we cannot deliver your order on e.g. the same date that the order is placed, or, a Bank Holiday date, then we will select a suitable date near to the one requested and arrange delivery for that date. If you have accidently selected the wrong date, please telephone us as soon as possible with the correct date. We will make every effort to change the date, where possible.
In the event of Royal Mail industrial action that will affect your delivery, we will make every attempt to avoid known incidents of industrial action, but cannot prevent such actions causing problems with delivery timings.
During very hot weather conditions, we advise using only our Next Day service for delivery. |
| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |

Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
The entire order file, including your address details, is encrypted and is stored on the server as an order file. This is then only decrypted after it reaches our computer.

Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. If any of our products do not meet our exacting standard, then please inform us immediately. We will need the goods returned within 48 hours in order that we can examine them. Return postage will be refunded if we agree that the goods are 'sub-standard'.
If any goods arrive damaged, they must be refused when delivery is attempted, or signed for with a written comment on the couriers receipt, to say that they were damaged, outlining the extent of the damage. Please contact us immediately to discuss a resolution.
Some of our chocolates contain nuts and all can contain traces of nuts.
Ribbons, boxes and wrappings will vary depending on supply, changes and availability. Every attempt will be made to ensure that the goods displayed on this website, are a true representation of the goods sent. There may be occasions when we have no alternative but to substitute any part of an order for an alternative.
